Members of the Velokhaya cycling team train in Cape Town's Khayelitsha township April 2, 2015. South African cycling, which like other sports suffered as a result of international sanctions during apartheid, is slowly being transformed as a new wave of black professional riders make their presence felt two decades after white-minority rule ended. The best riders, it seems, are coming off Velokhaya’s production line. Picture taken April 2, 2015. REUTERS/Mike Hutchings

An exercise bike is pictured surrounded by debris in the town of Pilger, Nebraska June 17, 2014. Residents who were forced to leave a Nebraska village leveled by a tornado that killed a child and injured more than two dozen people began returning on Tuesday to salvage belongings from their battered homes, businesses, a church and school. The town of Pilger took a direct hit Monday afternoon as tornadoes swept across a farming area in northeast Nebraska, devastating up to 75 percent of its buildings, officials said. Orty Gym owner Lynda Ellabou poses in her new all-women's gym on the outskirts of Paris, in Le Raincy, October 4, 2013. The gym has become the unlikely venue for a heated controversy in France over Muslim integration, secularism and what some charge is blatant populism in advance of upcoming municipal elections. The gym, which opened last month in the bourgeois suburb of Le Raincy, is owned by a French Muslim couple who say their religion and appearance - she wears a headscarf and he a long beard - are the reason the mayor wants to shut them down. Some of the 70 women who have already joined the room cover their hair with a headscarf, but many do not, as all races and religions are welcome, said Lynda Ellabou, who owns the gym with her husband. A Christmas tree decorated with 8,000 lights that are charged by 15 stationary bicycles is seen in Puebla December 16, 2011. The tree is part of the city's "Sustainable Christmas" program that looks to raise awareness of energy consumption over the Christmas period. Visitors are invited to hop aboard a bicycle and pedal for as long as they like. The charge their cycling generates goes to batteries which store the energy for use when the crowd thins out and cyclists are few and far between.
