Spanish policemen inspect the remains of the car of ruling Popular Party's local politician Francisco Cano Consuegra, after a bomb exploded in the Catalan city of Terrassa December 14, 2000. Cano Consuegra, owner of a plumbing business and a part-time town councillor in Viladecabais near Barcelona, was killed by a bomb attached to the underside of his van that literally blew the vehicle to bits.

Spanish police take pictures of the car of ruling Popular Party's local politician Francisco Cano Consuegra after a bomb exploded in the Catalan city of Terrassa December 14, 2000. Politicians immediately pinned the attack on ETA after the bomb, attached to the underside of Francisco Cano Consuegra's car, wounded the councillor from Viladecabais, near Barcelona.
