ULTRALIGHT AIRCRAFT FLIES PAST A SETTING SUN IN CENTRAL BRAZIL.
Sergio Armelin pilots his ultra-light aircraft past the setting sun in Brasilia, August 21, 2000. A flier for 20 years, Armelin has also flown hang gliders and para-gliders. Brasilia has registered no rainfall in more than 100 days, and meteorologists from the National Meteorology Institute see relative humidity in the air falling as low as 14 percent; a level considered critical.
