- PHOTO TAKEN 04NOV05 - A visitor to the art show featuring works of painter Geert Jan Jansen looks at a forged "Botero" painting in the Ijsselhal in Zwolle, the Netherlands November 4, 2005. Jansen, who says he taught himself to paint, turned to forgery when he found it hard to make ends meet by selling his own work. He was so good that some of the artists he copied claimed his works were their own. Jansen chose ambitious targets, painting in the style of some of the 20th century's greatest artists [Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall and fellow Dutchman Karel Appel.] Picture taken November 4, 2005.

RAMP BUILT FOR POPE AT HOLY SEPULCHRE CHURCH IN JERUSALEM.
Tourists from the northern Dutch town of Zwolle look over a map of the Old City of Jerusalem March 13 as they stand before the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the traditional site of Jesus' crucifixion and burial. Preparations are underway for the historic visit to Israel by Pope John Paul II, including building a new wooden ramp so that the Pope may be driven to the plaza before the church. The old wooden ramp is at right. The Pope will visit the Holy Land including Palestinian self-rule areas March 21 - 26.
