UPDATE Chandrayaan-2 Vikram lander lost contact with ground control after it reached an altitude of 2.1 km above the lunar surface during its attempt to land on the moon on Sept. 7. ISRO subsequently said that the lander has been located on the moon and that it is trying to communicate with it.
