The new bells 'etienne', 'Benoit-Joseph', 'Maurice' and 'Jean-Marie' are seen on a trailer truck in front of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral in Paris January 31, 2013 after being transported with the four other replacement bronze bells for the North tower of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral from Normandy to Paris. The new eight bronze bells were cast with medieval methods at a French foundry in Normandy, and are ready now to ring for the 850th anniversary of the cathedral on March 23, 2013. The new bells, to be displayed for the public at Notre Dame during February and March, have the same weight and diameter as the ones from the 18th-century which were melted down and turned into cannons during the French Revolution, and are designed to produce the same sound.
