Egypt Crisis

RTX12N7B
48 Hours in Cairo - 16 Aug 2013
Egypt is in turmoil after security forces moved in to crush the protest camps of thousands of supporters of deposed Islamist president Mohamed Mursi on Wednesday, and violence spread around the country. Protesters clashed with police and troops who used bulldozers, teargas and live ammunition to clear two Cairo sit-ins, and hundreds have been killed. Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood has called on followers to march in Cairo later on Thursday, while funeral processions for those who died provide further potential flashpoints over the coming days.
