What Would You Save First? - 19 Feb 2014
As part of a series of portraits Reuters photographer Cathal McNaughton asked the residents of Moorland what was their most precious possession they would save from the flood waters. The residents of Moorland are among thousands across England who have fallen victim to flooding, with heavy rain and storms damaging homes, businesses and transport links. The government, which has been criticised for reacting too slowly to the floods, has pledged to spend whatever is needed for the relief effort.
