Belgian UN soldiers parade March 14 at a ceremony during which Major General Jozef Schoups was appointed as Force Commander of the United Nations Transitional Administration for Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Sirmium (UNTAES) at the Osijek airport. Before taking up this appointment, General Schoups served as Deputy Commander of Belgium's Interservice Territorial Command, a position he had held since 1994.
