POPE JOHN PAUL HAS HIS ADDRESS READ DURING A GENERAL AUDIENCE
Pope John Paul II leans in his chair as a priest reads the Pope's address during his weekly audience November 12. The raspy-voiced Pope, who skipped a mass November 11 because he was not feeling well, did not read his address due to a sore throat. The Pope's doctors have ordered him to rest more and reduce tiring, lengthy public appearances wherever possible.
