Chinese hostesses, wearing traditional cheongsam dresses, present a boxed Chinese flag that had been fired into space for a photocall as Hong Kong's future leader Tung Chee-hwa (C) looks on. The presentation was made after a session of the Hong Kong Preparatiory Committee closed in Beijing's Great Hall of the People May 23. The flag was recovered after spending 15 days in orbit aboard a scientific research satellite last year. Tung will be chief executive of Hong Kong after the British colony returns to China at midnight on June 30.
