Welsh soccer manager John Toshack raises his arm to salute the cheering fans of Turkish premier league club Besiktas June 24 as he gets into his car after talks on taking over the job of coaching the Turkish team in Istanbul. Toshack expected to sign up for Besiktas on Wednesday, resigned as coach of Spanish first division side, Deportivo Coruna in February after unsuccessful run in league and cup competitions and clashes with club authorities, players and fans. Besiktas is one of two Turkish teams who will compete in European Champions' Cup along with champion Galatasaray next season.
