A striking Junior hospital doctor cuts holes in her banner before a march by several thousand doctors, in protest over the proposed government health cuts, March 23. The doctors from numerous hospitals throughout the capital and provinces took part in the demonstration over the curbs in health care which the government intends to impose so France can qualify for the planned single European currency.
