AHMED JADALLAH TOUCHES THE COFFIN OF HIS BROTHER SALAH
Ahmed Jadallah (R) touches the plain wooden coffin of his brother Salah as Palestinian Police unload the body from an Israeli military truck January 29, at the Erez checkpoint leading into the Gaza Strip. Israel handed over the remains of two Islamic militants to the Palestinian Authority, more than two years after the guerrillas were killed. Salah Jadallah was killed when Israeli troops stormed a West Bank hideout to free soldier Nachshon Waxman who the militant Hamas movement had kidnapped and were holding hostage. The second guerrilla, Hassan Abbas, was killed in Jerusalem during an attack on Israelis at a mall of sidewalk cafes.
