American adventurist Steve Fossett, whose attempt to circle the globe by balloon ended in failure after six days, talks to reporters at the National Geographic Society in Washington January 27. Fossett said he was encouraged by his voyage, and that he would carry more propane fuel next time when he attempts to circle the world again.
