STOCK TRADER COVERS FACE AT RIO BOURSE
A trader covers his face shortly after the opening at the stock exchange in Rio de Janeiro on October 28. The exchanges in Rio and Sao Paulo halted trading for an hour within minutes of opening after shares plunged over 12 percent on fallout from a global stocks crisis. "It is just what we expected. Investors were predicting a drop of as much as 20 percent today," one trader said.
