ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA RETURNS TO THE RIVER CLYDE
The Royal Yacht Britannia sails up the river Clyde escorted by naval helicopters on its way to Glasgow for a three day visit, October 31. Britannia has returned to the Clyde where it was launched in 1953 at John Brown's shipyard in Clydebank. The visit is part of a farewell, eight-stop, round Britain tour before the yacht is decommissioned in December.
