Sanyo Securities Co Ltd's president Takashi Ikeuchi (2nd R) and chairman Shiro Urashima (R) announce at a news conference at the Tokyo Stock Exchange November 3, that they filed for bankruptcy protection from its creditors. Sanyo Securities, one of Japan's most troubled brokerage firms, became the first securities company for a Japanese brokerage firm in the post-war period.
