HISTORIAN IENAGA SPEAKS TO REPORTERS AFTER WINNING TEXTBOOK SUIT IN TOKYO
Japanese historian Saburo Lenaga speaks to reporters after winning a textbook censorship case in Tokyo August 29. Japan's Supreme Court ruled that government censorship of references in school textbooks to a World War Two germ warfare group known as Unit 731 were ''unlawful" and ordered the government to pay him a token 400,000 yen ($3,390) in compensation.
