ABRAHAM FOXMAN GIVES MENORA TO CHRISTOPH MEILI
Abraham Foxman (L), Director of the American Jewish Organization "Anti-Defamation League B'nai B'rith" (ADL), points to a Menora that was given to Christoph Meili, the security guard who stole old documents bound for the shredder at the Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) and gave them to Swiss Jews in the belief they could help the search for Holocaust funds, during a brief ceremony in Zurich, January 17, honouring Meili's action. The "Anti-Defamation League" opened an account in support of Meili who lost his job as a security guard at UBS.
