Nissan Motor Co Ltd President Yoshikazu Hanawa speaks to reporters at Nissan headquarters in Tokyo May 13. Hanawa said his company was planning to hold on to at least some of its shares in Nissan Diesel Motor Co, but that Daimler-Benz AG was likely to become Nissan Diesel's top shareholder. Nissan Motor and Daimler are currently in talks on an alliance in the commercial vehicle sector, including the possibility of Daimler taking a stake in Nissan Diesel.
