CHE02:SPORT-ATHLETICS CHINA:CHENGDU,CHINA,12MAY98 - Marion Jones of the U.S. waves to the crowd accompanied by Chinese challenger Li Xuemei (R) who finished fourth after Jones won the World's Fastest Woman 100-meters race at Chengdu Sports Center in China's southeastern Sichuan province May 12. Jones clocked 10.71 seconds to win the race which was sponsored by a Chinese computer company. Jones won 30,000 Yuan ($3,614) in prize money after failing to break the world record which carried one million Yuan ($120,481) in prize money.
