VILLAGERS LOOK AT THE BODY OF A RARE ONE-HORNED RHINOCEROS.
Forest Rangers and villagers look at the body of a one-horned rhinoceros in the village of Dar Baageri on the outskirts of the Kaziranga National Park in the northern state of Assam September 12. More than 15 rhinoceroses have been reported killed by the flooding and by poachers after seeking refuge in the highlands. Flooding from the river in India's tea-and oil-rich state of Assam has killed hundreds of people and caused damage worth millions of dollars.
