The body of Azem Hajdari, a senior leader and lawmaker of the opposition Democratic Party, lies on a stretcher as relatives examine his fatal bullet wounds September 12. Hajdari was gunned down on Saturday as he stepped out of the headquarters of the Democratic Party. Hajdari's killing comes three weeks after six former Democratic Party officials were arrested on charges of crimes against humanity, prompting street protests by Democrat supporters.
