Switzerland's Alex Zuelle speeds to a 9th place finish in the 34-km time trial 21th stage of the Giro d'Italia from Mendrisio to Lugano June 6. Serguei Gontchar of the Ukraine won the stage with a time of 39 minutes 54 seconds while Marco Pantani retained the overall race lead.
