A group of Pakistani's watch Pakistani Finance Minster Sartaj Aziz's televised budget speech at an electrical store in Karachi June 12. Aziz announced the 1998/99 (July-June) budget at the national assembly on Friday. Aziz presented what he called a budget of self-reliance to counter the effects of sanctions imposed for Pakistan's recent nuclear tests.
