PAINTER ZHU MEILIN AND WIFE LOOK AT A PANORAMIC PAINTING OF YANGZI RIVER IN TONGLING CITY.
Chinese artist Zhu Meilin and his wife, Liu Ling, look at his painting of Yangzi river at their home in Tongling city in central Anhui province. Zhu spent 12 years and more than 200,000 yuan ($24,096) to travel along China's longest river to complete his art work which is the world's longest painting. The "Ten Thousand Miles Yangzi River Whole View", measures 1314.25 metres long and 0.65 metres wide, recording the cultural activities, climate and scenes in a painting reduced to a scale of 1:5,000.
