DALAI LAMA GREETED BY CROWD AT BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY.
The Dalai Lama (R) shakes hands with enthusiastic followers and admirers as he arrives at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts with Brandeis University President Yehuda Reinharz (C) at his side, May 8. Brandeis was founded by members of the United States Jewish community in 1948 after World War II. The exiled Tibetan Buddhist leader is using his two-day visit to the school to try to establish stronger ties with the U.S. Jewish community.
