Ami Ayalon (L), the head of the Israeli Shin Bet secret service enters a weekly cabinet meeting with Defense Minister Yitzhak Mordechai April 5 morning. Ayalon, who met Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in secret talks on Friday, briefed the cabinet on matters dealing with the death of a Moslem militant master bomber, Muhyideen al-Sharif. Ayalon told Arafat that Israel had nothing to do with the Hamas bomb maker's death, and Prime Minister Netanyahu added that he would hold the Palestinian Authority responsible should there be any reprisal attack against the Jewish state.
