GUESTS AT GIANT LUNCH TOAST EUROPE'S LONGEST BRIDGE IN PORTUGAL
Guests at a giant lunch propose a toast March 22, as Portugal cooked its way into the Guinness Book of Records seating more than 15,000 people at the longest dinner table ever laid. A table 5 km (3 miles) long was used to seat guests celebrating the opening of Vasco da Gama bridge, the longest in Europe with a total length of 17,8 km (11 miles).
