HIBINO SHOWS OFF WORLD'S LIGHTEST FOLDABLE BICYCLE IN TOKYO.
Engineer Hitomi Hibino holds up "the world's lightest compact foldable bicycle" named a "traincle 6500" weighing 6.5kg at Tokyo station September 8. The "traincle 6500," and 7.5kg "traincle 7500," is made from titanium and designed for easy handling for taking onto trains. East Japans Railway jointly developed the bikes with the National Bicycle Industrial Co and will be on the market in November priced respectively at 176,000 yen (about $1,330) and 103,000 yen ($780).
