Canadian sprinter Bruny Surin (L) gets a hug from Donovan Bailey following the 100-meter final at the Canadian track and field championships in Montreal, August 1. Surin won the race with a time of 9.89 seconds, the third fastest in the world this year and the eighth fastest in history, while world record holder Bailey finished second in 9.93.
