Finland's Mika Hakkinen powers his McLaren-Mercedes through the rain followed by Ferrari's German driver Michael Schumacher during the British Grand Prix, July 12. Schumacher went on to win the race and force Hakkinen into second place, thereby closing the gap on Hakkinen in the drivers championship to two points.
