WORKERS OF PAKISTANI POLITICAL PARTY PROTEST AGAINST KILLINGS IN KARACHI.
Supporters of opposition Tehrik-e-Istaqlal party chant slogans for peace during a rally in Karachi July 14. The protesters demanded Sharif's government to restore law and order in Karachi. At least 152 people were killed during the month of June and more than 500 people have been killed so far this year in ethnic, sectarian and political violence. The police blame factional infighting between rival ethnic groups.
