ANIMAL ACTIVISTS PAM CLARKE STAGES A PROTEST IN SYDNEY.
Supporters stand behind animal rights campaigner Pam Clarke (3rd R) as they hold posters bearing the modified Sydney 2000 Olympic logo outside the Federal Court in Sydney June 25. The court ordered the Tasmanian battery hen campaigner to stop using the modified logo, and to give up all copies of material which featured it. The Sydney Olympics graphic, which originally featured a runner with boomerang-shaped limbs and the words Sydney 2000, was altered with the Olympic rings being changed into five eggs and the words "Free Battery Hens" being added.
