RECENT FILE PHOTO - U.S. President Bill Clinton will pass through the Bell Tower on June 25 to receive the key of the city from the mayor following extravangant welcoming ceremonies traditionally reserved for emperors. The tower which stands in the centre of China's ancient capital of Xian was rebuilt at the present site in 1739 during the Qing Dynasty. The original tower was built in the late 14th century.
