The spiritual leader of the Islamic militant movement Hamas, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, is wheeled into a room in his home to take part in a Reuters interview late January 13. Yassin says he may try to enter Britain for surgery. The Palestinian cleric, whose movement has killed scores of Israelis in suicide bombings, said he would send his medical records to supporters in the United Kingdom to establish whether a hospital there could treat him.
