The new chairman of the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange (KLSE) Mohammed Azlan Hashim speaks at a news conference in Kuala Lumpur January 19. Azlan said on Monday that KLSE in a move to strengthen the industry and help build confidence would introduce tighter rules for companies' gearing ratios, margin financing and brokerages exposure to single clients and single currencies.
