MICROSOFT LAWYER WARDEN ARRIVES AT FEDERAL COURTHOUSE.
Microsoft lawyer John Warden arrives at the U.S. District Court in Washington for the second day of the government's antitrust lawsuit against his company October 20. Microsoft rejected government accusations that it had acted illegally in its bid to defeat competitors, telling the federal judge presiding over the hearing that antitrust laws did not compel it to go soft on its rivals. "The antitrust laws are not a code of civility in business," Warden said.
