Australian businessman Clint Hallam, the world's first hand and arm transplant patient, is pushed in a wheelchair by a nurse at the the Edouard Herriot hospital, October 15. An international team of six doctors sewed a donor's hand and arm on Hallam whose arm had been amputated in a 1989 accident. Hallam is due to leave hospital at the end of the week and France in December.
