Pope John Paul II holds a bouquet of flowers, a gift from Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski's wife Jolanta, in St Peter's Square October 16. An emotional Pope marked the 20th anniversary of his election on Friday asking his Polish countrymen to pray so that he could fulfil his dream of leading the Catholic Church into the next millennium.
