A White family cross the border into South Africa as they flee riots and looting in different parts of the mountain kingdom of Lesotho September 24 which is surrounded by South Africa. South African and Botswanan troops battled to restore order in the mountain kingdom of Lesotho but anarchy still reigned in the burned-out capital. Maseru erupted into chaos on Tuesday after Pretoria sent in troops at the request of Lesotho Prime Minister Pakalitha Mosisili to quell waht he called an army mutiny.
