GREENPEACE TAKE TOXIC WASTE FROM HOMEBUSH BAY NERA OLYMPIC SITE IN SYDNEY.
Members of Greenpeace seal containers of toxic waste on a barge near the Orica chemical site, that they removed from Homebush Bay, near the Sydney 2000 Olympic venue October 15. Homebush Bay, the only site in Australia where it is illegal to fish because it is so polluted, is reportedly up for sale by its owners, chemical giant Orica (formerly ICI Australia) as a residential re-development. Greenpeace are urging the company to clean up the site before the Olympics.
