ALI AL SALEM AIRBASE,KUWIAT,9JAN99 - The wife of British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Cherie, chats with British troops deployed at a Kuwaiti Airbase just south of the border with Iraq on January 9. The British couple spent two hours with Royal Airforce crews at this airbase where twelve British Tornados are deployed. The bombers dropped more than 50 laser guided bombs on Iraqi targets last month during U.S. led military attacks against Iraq.
