A Zimbabwe Presidential Guard Unit soldier keeps watch over supporters
of the ruling ZANU (PF) party during an anti Commonwealth protest after
the opening ceremony of the annual conference in Masvingo, 300 Km's
south of Harare December 5, 2003. President Robert Mugabe once again
said that Zimbabwe may leave the Commonwealth from which it was
suspended in 2002 after his controversial election. Zimbabwe has not
been invited to the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting (CHOGM) to
