HE EATS ICE CREAM.
U.S. Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.) reacts to a question from the news
media about possibly making changes in his campaign staff as he eats an
ice cream cone September 2, 2003 outside a frozen custard stand in Des
Moines, Iowa. Kerry, who formally announced his campaign for the 2004
U.S. Democratic presidential nomination earlier in the day at a rally
in South Carolina, responded "I've made no decisions about anything."
