Hand prints of Canadian army medics adorn the wall of patrol base Sperwan Ghar in the Panjwaii district of Kandahar province, October 1, 2009. Canadian medic Adj. Jules Berube of St. Redempteur, Que drew a mural at the base and on June 21, 2007 signed the work using his handprint. Every Canadian army medic to be stationed at the base since has added their handprint to the wall, creating a visual record now referred to as "The Healing Hands of Sperwan Ghar."
