Macedonia's former ethnic Albanian guerrilla chief has dismissed talk of a new conflict in the former Yugoslav republic and called for its two main ethnic groups to work together. Macedonian media have been awash with stories that ethnic Albanian rebels plan a "spring offensive" to plunge the country back into fighting which erupted last year and was halted by a Western-backed peace accord in August.
