Two fishermen mend their nets in Albania's Durres beach close to a cannon bunker that has now been turned into a restaurant and fitted with a veranda on its roof in Durres, some 40 km (25 miles) from capital Tirana, May 31, 2007. More than half a million pillboxes and bunkers, which built by late communist dictator Enver Hoxha to protect isolated Albania from an invasion that never came, were turned into bars, restaurants and fast food outlets by Albanians eager to make money during the summer holiday season. The big bunkers like the ones in the picture were meant to house big cannons that would strike at a naval enemy incursion. REUTERS/Arben Celi (ALBANIA)
