A panoramic view of one of South Africa's poorest black townships of Alexandra. The township, ironically lies close to one of the most prestigious and famous business districts in the country, that of Sandton - in the background. But this month the township has received a boost as it has been chosen to house hundreds of athletes from accross Africa as South Africa hosts the 7th All-Africa Games.
